For clients with darker skin types Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) is a side effect. This is due to excess melanin production triggered by heat from the radio frequency. However, the Sylfirm X is designed with pulsed-wave technology and non-insulated needles, making it a safer option that significantly reduces thermal damage to the skin's surface. For lighter skin types, the side effects are minimal, some redness and tightening.

There is very little downtime. You may have a little redness after treatment but this will fade within an hour.

Radio Frequency (RF) is what makes RF microneedling more effective. The heat from the radio frequency coagulates the blood, creating a clean vessel to the pore allowing our topical agent - exosomes- to penetrate deeper. Also, the laser reads the skin and creates a thermage effect which will tighten the skin immediately. There is also less downtime with RF microneedling than with regular microneedling. After your RF microneedling session you will be a little red, which will only last about an hour. With regular microneedling the redness can last up to 24 hours.

Every treatment is customized to each person. We use a shallow needle depth and the PW (pulsed wave) setting to reduce thermal injury to melanocytes. We also provide you with exosomes to take home to reduce post treatment inflammation.
