Lynette brings over 20 years of experience as a dedicated Rutland Dundee Firefighter and EMT, serving her community with compassion and care. With 9 years of experience as a phlebotomist at St. Alexius, she has honed her clinical skills and patient-centered approach.

Lynette shares her expertise at First Institute, where she teaches phlebotomy, injections, and patient care. As a Certified Medical Assistant and Lead Medical Assistant Instructor for the past 7 years, she has mentored and guided countless students preparing for careers in healthcare.

In addition to her role at First Institute, Lynette teaches CPR and EKG at Elgin Community College (ECC), helping students and professionals build life-saving skills. Her extensive background in emergency care and medical education makes her a trusted and knowledgeable professional, deeply committed to excellence in patient care and healthcare training.

Lynette is the mother of 3. When she is not teaching, she and her husband enjoy their 2 grandchildren. While she also loves to travel and read a good book, she is also passionate about holistic and clean ingredients and creates many of the items her family uses from scratch.
